Where a project is in trouble or not performing as expected, Capital Works Consulting will assess the state of a project, work with the client to reestablish project objectives that are realistic considering the state of the project, and re and develop a path forward for the project.

The first step a client must take when a project is not performing is to accept the situation the project is in. Too often projects veer off target and clients and management teams simply hope that the situation will improve. A poorly performing project will never correct itself.
When a project is in trouble, there is a requirement to accept it, and develop a plan of action. This generally means realistically resetting the metrics against the project objective of time, cost or the amount of scope that can be delivered with the budget. It also involves a review of the structure of the contractors and consultants to ensure the structure is correct to secure the best outcome going forward.
